Sometimes, the hardest part in life, especially during trying times, is keeping up with the passion and the will to progress. Worse, when we're on our own doing freelance work, or running our own operation, being our own boss. That means we do not have someone over us telling us "good job" or "here's a raise", and that does get a little disappointing at times. Not really having anyone to let us know what a great asset we are and to keep us motivated through the days and weeks. This is why it is important to remember why we started.
How hungry are we? No, not for that leftover nasi goreng last night. True success is shown through the hunger for it. It should just come naturally and not just for the money, though that is a big factor. Sometimes, the hunger can die down, and that's okay, that's normal. Try building it back up. Look at how far we've come. Look back at old photos and see how we have grown since then. Keep our days interesting with our work by growing that hunger and learning to improve through all the processes and experiences.
Either way, staying busy and seeing ourselves change for the better is most important. I have a huge digital archive of pictures from different phases in my life. It's fun to look at, and best of all - I get to revisit inspirational parts of my journey and renew my drive and hunger for my goals.
Somehow, somewhere, we started from scratch with a passion on being a successful individual. Hang on to that passion, and never let that person go!

I still remember when the Tatler team gathered in my tiny apartment for the shoot and interview while having drinks and snacks from Starbucks. Memorable and priceless! - A
